ELEGANT’ ALBUM & COFFEE TABLE BOOKS

Our Elegant’ albums and coffee table books are hand crafted, assembled and bound, old fashion style, to produce a quality, value priced custom product that will please the most discerning bride. Italian leather covers with flat or round spines available in black and ivory. Linen covers are available in various colors. Pages are bound on white or black, acid free pannels. All pages are panorama style with center fold, not cut, to produce a unique album that will easily become a heirloom. Elegant’ ablums are turn key, ready to deliver to the consumer in a presentation box. Various spine designs offered. Gold letter or foilless Recessed embossing available only on round spine covers.

Elegant’ albums are available in sizes: 12x12, 9x12, 10x10, 8x8, 8x6 & 5x5. Our 5x5 & 8x8 albums are exellent for parents of the bride and groom, and are priced accordingly. Lacquer spray or color corrections not included in price. Gold letter or foilless Recessed embossing available only on round spine covers. 2 lines, block or script font @ $15.00.

When ordering please follow our specific guidelines. Orders accepted from Roes, LabPrints, FTP or Disk as either SCM or LCM. Specify cover type, cover color and pannel thickness--light or heavy and pannel color, black or white.

SCM: studio color managed prices are stated above. Our price is turn key: album & prints. As usual, SCM orders will be treated as ready to print without questioning, and as such, "make overs" will be charged at full price.

LCM: lab color managed will incur an additional charge for color corrections: $0.30 per file. We prefer that studios approve representative color samples (indoor, outdoor & reception prior to crafting albums.) Once approved, production can commence.

General Information: Elegant’ Albums

1). Printing and Binding only:

Photographer provides album design. We recommend the use of our ROES Designer Module which is FREE to Pechman clients. Please note: Because album pages are ‘full bleed,’ you will lose approximately 1/8 inch of image on three sides of an open spread (panorama) during the binding process. Please leave an adequate amount of image area to correctly crop for heads, feet, shoulders and important objects. Because all of your prints are panoramas (10x20, etc.), there is zero image loss in the center of the spread (panorama) where the two pages meet. Beware of image placement where the center fold occurs.

2). Album Information:

(All album pages lay flat when opened except for round spine leather covers.)

 

Our albums allow for full panoramic 2-page (continous) spreads only for all pages. No center cuts which results in an eye pleasing presentation , and as a result, the album is first choice with most brides. Pages are approximately 3/32 th of an inch thick, very ideal for 10 (20 sides) to 20 (40 sides) pages. Two (2) additional pages can be added or subtracted: 2 pages, 4 sides, 2 panorama prints.

 

Our ‘Thin Style’ album pages are approximately 1/32 th of an inch thick. Thin pages are available for 8x8 or smaller Linen albums for that "book look." Thick pages are approximately 3/32 ths in thickness.

3). Album Covers:

Albums covers: Italian leather and Linen. Leather (Black) & (Ivory) without picture window cover. Linen available in various colors: Black, Brown, Gold, Silver, Burgandy & Green. Note: Price includes covers and prints. Dust jackets on Linen covers are priced separately---call for size requirements. Special order album colors and or sizes: please call customer service for cover availability.

 

 

 

4). Submitting Orders:

Turn around time is approximately 4 days. Embossing add 5 days.

Please coordinate your first few album orders with customer service. SCM: No free remakes: keep in mind, it is your design & layout and your color & density, not ours. Photographers using our ‘Lab Color Management (LCM) Services’ & Pechman’s ROES ProPreferred software, FTP or Disk must sign off on our color match prior to printing. Please allow additional time for this process.

We also design albums for those studios not familiar with software on a per hour basis. Experienced software users are welcome to use our (free) ROES Designer Module and design their own unique albums. Call for more information.
