How to name folders and files when ordering packages of prints. The following folder and file naming protocol should be followed: Folder and file names should be kept to 8 to 12 characters. If your package does not exactly match one of the lab packages use multiple lab package letter codes to create your package. Example: You need 1-8x10, 8 wallets (code E) and 4-4x5’s (code W). Your folder name would be, EW_ add the number of files in the folder. Image file names can be a combination of letters and numbers. Example: Smith001.jpg (remember only 8 to 12 characters). Include the file extension in your file names. These three characters do not count in the allowed 8 to 12. Now, simply drag and drop the files into the corresponding package folder. If you need more than one package from a file or an ‘add on’, place a copy of the file in the appropriate folder. Watch file names, don't let extra words 'copy of' be included and increase the file name. One extra letter or number at the end of the file name will allow duplicates in the same folder.
